In 1982, he became an apprentice at Local 146 (Edmonton, Alberta). He took a three-year boiler course and earned his company ticket in 1986. Stadnick has worked in both the ISO and cSO divisions as an apprentice, companion, labour administrator, foreman, general foreman and superintendent on various sites. A 29-year-old member of Local 693 (Pascagoula, Mississippi), he worked in the Rigging division of Ingalls Shipbuilding, was elected L-693 Business Manager in 1996 and was appointed International Rep at the end of his term. He began his career in 1974 as an apprentice at Boilermakers Local 175, Oswego, New York (now Local 5, Zone 175) and completed his studies in 1978 as a companion. Fultz was appointed Deputy Director of construction in 2009. After eight years in this position, he was appointed Executive Director – CSO and Deputy Director of Administrative Affairs of the International President. He was also appointed special assistant to the international president. He only held the position of ED-CSO for a short period of time before being elected IVP-NE. Baca, a third-generation boilermaker, was president of both the Trades Contra Costa Building and the Central Labor Council and a board member of the NAACP chapter in that region. Delegates elected by members will also vote on amendments to the International Constitution, which governs the actions of all international officers, staff, local lodges and members. Fultz is also an agent and secretary on the boards of the Boilermakers National Health and Welfare Fund and the Boilermaker-Blacksmith National Pension Trust. He is also a member of the Joint Committee on the Management of National Funds.

Tom Baca began his boilermaker career in 1969 as a feldbauer. As a member of Local 549 (Pittsburg, California), Baca worked from steward to superintendent of employment and was appointed in 1994 as assistant business manager.
